1.Our commitment
We want everyone to enjoy Nexo TV. We design and test our web app against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and we treat accessibility problems as bugs. This statement covers the Nexo TV website and web app; our mobile and TV apps follow the same standard.
2.Accessibility features
- Captions and subtitles, on by default if you choose, with adjustable size, background and font (including a dyslexia-friendly option) in Profile & settings.
- Reduce motion to minimise animations and stop slideshows from moving on their own.
- Keyboard access throughout, with visible focus, a “Skip to content” link and player keyboard shortcuts.
- Screen reader support: labelled controls, landmarks, headings, and status announcements.
- Bilingual interface in English and Filipino, and Data Saver for slower or metered connections.
- Colour contrast that meets AA in our dark theme; information is never conveyed by colour alone.
3.Known limitations
- Audio description is not yet available for most titles.
- Translated captions and subtitles are reviewed, but may occasionally contain errors.
- Some creator-supplied artwork contains text that isn’t fully described.
4.Feedback and contact
If something is hard to use, tell us. Choose “Accessibility” in the Help center or email accessibility@nexo.tvTBC. Accessibility reports are prioritised by our support team. We welcome feedback in English or Filipino.
5.How we assess accessibility
We combine automated checks with manual keyboard and screen-reader testing on major browsers. An independent audit is planned before launch: [audit date and scope to be confirmed]TBC.
