1.About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and [Registered company name]TBC (“Nexo TV”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the Philippines (SEC registration no. [SEC registration no.]TBC), with its office at [Registered office address, Metro Manila]TBC. They cover your use of the Nexo TV apps and website and the films, series, microdramas and other content we offer (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Philippine law that can’t be waived, including under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394), the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (RA 11967) and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

2.Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for your use of the Service.
  • Give accurate information and keep your password secret. You’re responsible for activity on your account; tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
  • You can create several profiles on one account for people in your household. Kids profiles only show titles rated G or PG by MTRCB categories, and a parental PIN can protect maturity settings.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, with notice where the law requires and where it is safe to do so.

3.Plans, free trials and billing

Some content is free or ad-supported. Premium plans and coins are paid. Prices are shown in Philippine pesos (₱) and include 12% value-added tax on digital services. The price, billing period, trial length and renewal terms are shown before you pay.

  • How renewal works. Premium bought on our website does not renew automatically: before each billing period ends we send you a reminder with a payment link, and you keep Premium by paying for the next period. Premium bought in the Nexo TV app through the App Store or Google Play renews automatically through Apple or Google until you cancel in your store account, and their terms also apply to those payments and refunds. We’ll notify you in advance of any price increase, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Free trials. Trials are for new subscribers only. Before you start one, checkout shows exactly what happens when it ends, including any first charge and its date. In the App Store or Google Play, the paid subscription starts when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
  • Payment methods. We accept the methods shown at checkout for your region, such as GCash, Maya, GrabPay, credit/debit cards and over-the-counter payment. Payments are processed by licensed payment partners; we don’t store your full card number or e-wallet PIN.
  • Unpaid renewals. If a renewal isn’t paid by the end of a period (a website renewal you haven’t paid yet, or a store payment that fails), Premium stays available during a short grace period and we remind you. If it still isn’t paid, your plan ends and your account moves to the Free plan.

4.Coins

  • Coins are a prepaid way to unlock individual episodes. The coin price of an episode is shown before you unlock it.
  • An unlocked episode stays unlocked for your account for as long as the title is available on Nexo TV in your region.
  • Coins don’t expire, have no cash value, can’t be transferred between accounts and can’t be exchanged for money except where the law requires.
  • If a coin purchase is refunded, the refunded coins are removed from your balance. Coins already spent stay spent.

5.Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from Plans & billing (or, for a plan bought in the App Store or Google Play, in that store’s subscription settings). There are no cancellation fees. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

Refunds follow Philippine consumer law. If something went wrong (for example, a duplicate charge, or content you paid for didn’t work and we couldn’t fix it), contact us through the Help center within 14 days of the charge and we’ll review it promptly. Where a refund is due, we return it to the original payment method where possible.

6.Content and ratings

Nexo TV brings together films, series and microdramas from studios and independent creators, including Filipino originals. Every title is reviewed by our editors before it goes live, and its title page shows its rating, advisories, languages and credits.

We classify titles using MTRCB rating categories (G, PG, R-13, R-16, R-18) and content advisories. Ratings help you choose; they don’t replace your own judgement or parental supervision.

Titles can change or leave the Service, and availability differs by region because of licensing.

7.Acceptable use

When you use Nexo TV, you agree not to:

  • copy, download (except through features we provide), record, redistribute or publicly show content;
  • get around geo-restrictions, stream limits, DRM, parental controls or other security measures;
  • share your account outside your household, or sell or rent access to it;
  • post comments that are unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that disclose other people’s personal data;
  • use the Service to create or spread deepfakes or synthetic likenesses of real people without their consent;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the Service, or use automated means to access it without our permission.

8.Creator submissions

If you submit content as a creator, you keep ownership of it and grant us the licence described in your creator agreement. You must follow our Creator guidelines, including accurate production declarations and documented consent for any real person’s voice or likeness.

9.Intellectual property and takedowns

The Service, our brand and our content are protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293) and other laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream content for private, non-commercial viewing.

If you believe content on Nexo TV infringes your copyright, or uses your voice or likeness without consent, send us a notice using the takedown form. We act on valid notices promptly and may remove content and suspend repeat infringers.

10.Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. If a change materially affects you (for example, to prices or your rights), we’ll give you reasonable notice before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then. The “last updated” date above shows when these Terms last changed.

11.Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep Nexo TV available and accurate, but the Service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be interrupted. Automated features, such as the Watch Concierge and translated subtitles, can make mistakes.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. None of this limits liability that can’t be limited under Philippine law, including for fraud, gross negligence or violations of consumer rights.

12.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. You may also bring a complaint to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) or other competent authority. Court proceedings will be brought in the proper courts of [City to be confirmed]TBC, without prejudice to any venue the law guarantees consumers.
